IGA is a smaller but well stocked grocery store with better prices on lots of things than the big chain stores. I like the smaller store as it's easy to get in and out ,close to my home and a pleasant place.
This IGA is very nice! It seems to have everything, including a deli, & a very good selection of beer & wine.
One of the cleanest grocery stores I have ever stepped foot into. The selection of products is great and they aren't overpriced. The folks at the checkout counter are really friendly.
I ordered hot food from the deli and it was a good meal. Fresh and tasted good.
The store itself is fine but good luck getting your prescriptions from the pharmacy if there is any weather issue that might inconvenience the pharmacy manager/pharmacist/owner/whoever it is. I evacuated due to hurricane Irma and am staying in big canoe. If electricity goes out for a little while count on the pharmacist being out of there. That has happened the last two days and we need important prescriptions and can't pick them up because the pharmacist took off even though the store is open. If you have to get an important rx filled I wholeheartedly recommend either taking it to or having it called into the CVS or Walgreens in Dawsonville. It's not that far away and they may in fact actually care about you and your business.
